WOMEN'S DIVISION

• Most of the women's hockey matches played on the Ova! on Saturday were interrupted by heavy rain, and later abandoned. The only A 1 grade match concluded was that in which Training College defeated Dunedin by 2 goals to 0. Play was very even, and in the second half no goals were obtained. M. Bilsen was the only scorer. When the match between Taieri and Otago was abandoned the score was 3-1 in Taieri's favour, and the match Momona v. Kings was stopped with the score at 2 all. In the B 1 grade the score in the match Taieri v. Training College was 7-0 in Taieri's favour when play was stopped.
