MARSHAL PETAIN
WANTS U.S. AMBASSADOR TO GIVE EVIDENCE
(Rec. 10 a.m.) LONDON. May 25. Marshal Petain to-day asked the High Court of Justice to deliver a letter from him to Admiral Leahy asking the former American Ambassador to travel to France and testify supporting Petain's claim that he opposed the Germans secretly.
