THE LAST OF HIMMLER
QUESTION OF BURIAL CHRISTIAN SERVICE A MOCKERY (Rec. 8 a.m.) LONDON, May 25. British soldiers measured Himmler for a plain wooden coffin, says Keuter's correspondent with the Second Army. It is uncertain in what faith Himmler was brought up, so the question of his burial has been referred to the- highest authorities. One British chaplain said it seemed a mockery of the Christian faith to grant a Christian burial to an apostate who destroyed the souls of thousands by brutality unparalleled in history.
