U-BOAT WARFARE NKW YORK, May 1. Admiral Sir James Somcrville, in a speech at Detroit, said the defeat o'f U-boats was virtually complete, and onlv one ship in 350 was being attacked. Ho revealed that 2,000.000 tons of British shipping was sunk in the first 11 months of the war.
