—Ministerial.— The Minister of Health (the Hon A. H- Nordmeyer) arrived in Dunedin from Oamaru last night. To-day he transacted Ministerial and departmental business at the Chief Post Office, and he "will remain in Dunedin until Thursday morning, when he will leave for Invercargill. He will travel to Roxburgh on- Saturday to inspect the children's health camp. - He will return to Wellington at the beginning of next week. The Minister is accompanied by his private secretary, Mr E. J. Sutch. :;.". ,; —Air Passengers.— Passengers from the north yesterday were:—Mr G. Jackson, Mr R. S. Chit, Mrs S. L. Mr W. F. Forrester left for Christchurch by this morning's express. Mr A. E. Hargreaves, of Wellington, formerly district railway manager at Dunedin, is visiting the city. The Primate of New Zealand, Archbishop West-Watson, has received the following cable message from Mr Joseph C. Grew, Acting Secretary of Statu of thp United States:—" Mrs Roosevelt has asked me to convey to you and the members of the Anglican Church of New Zealand her deep appreciation of your thoughtful nies- ' sage of sympathy and your tribute to the late President." Mr D. E. Davidson, of 12 Princes street, Musselburgh, has received advice that his brother, Gnr. Leslie Davidson, who has been a prisoner of war in Germany, has arrived in. the United Kingdom. Mr H.'H. Murphy, technical organiser for the; New- Zealand Motor Certification Board, last night addressed a representative gathering of the trade and technical school authorities in the > Crawford Lounge. The purpose of Mr Murphy's visit is. to lecture on the .technical training. plan of motor _ apprentices and mechanics. He has given addresses on this subject in all the technical school centres, and will complete his campaign in New Zealand at Invercargill to-morrowmght.
