DAILY INTERCESSION.
If it be Thy will, O God, give stvift and merciful success to our arms. Grant to our statesmen and commanders ability and resolution; those who endure the battle sustain in fortitude, chivalry, and strength; comfort and relieve the wounded, save the. dying, grant to the fallen pardon and peace; comfort all tcho mourn, and solace the anxious; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
