HARRIERS
Caversham Club.—The club held its one-mile maiden race for the McStay Cup at St. Kilda on Saturday, and also the colts' half-mile race. Results: —One mile: H. Hendry 1, W. Cranshaw 2, G. Dumble 3; time, 4min 35sec. Half-mile: R. Duncan 1, R. Cunningham 2, R. Davidson 3. Civil Service Club. The club's maiden race was held at St. Kilda. C. McKersey was first, Beadle second, and Lindsay third.
Celtic United Club.—The weekly run was held from the Mornington "Catholic School. The run home resulted as follows:—Colts: T. Clark 1, G. McLaughlan 2, W. Tither 3. Slow pack: P. O'Connor 1, J. Hurring 2, S. Monaghan 3. Fast pack: P. Smith 1, D. Hirfcton 2, M. Gillidk 3.
Mornington Club.—The weekly run was held from the North-east Valley School. The runs home resulted as follows:—Slow pack: G. Cathro 1, D. Campbell 2, D. Graveson 3. Fast pack : K. Turner 1, P. Watt 2, S. Robertson 3.
Leith and St. Kilda Clubs.—The annual combined run of these clubs was held from the Dundas Street Methodist Hall. The results were as follows : Colts: G. Lawless (L.) 1, F. Perry r, 1 2. Hunter (St. K.) 3. Juniors: R. Falconer (St. K.) 1, R. Smith (St. K.) 2, R. McLean (L.) 3. Seniors: D. Renwick (L.) 1, A. W. Cunningham (L.) 2. K. Campbell (L.) 3.
Univcrsitv Club.—A run was held from the St. Kilda Bathing Pavilion, with an attendance of about 30 members. The fast nnek ran across the Chisholm Park Golf Links to Tomahawk, and cross country to the Soldiers' Monument, then clown the high road, to finish with a fast run home from Anderson's Bay The stow packtook the same route, but in the opposite direction.
