SOUTH CANTERBURY MEETING SISTER SAL IN FAVOUR TBy Watcher.] With hurdling, flat racing, and trotting included on the South Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting to-morrow public support will be forthcoming from far and near, but much will' depend on the weather, which can either make or mar a meeting. The Timaru Cup will see another meeting between Sister Sal and Palfrey, who followed Lowry Bay home in the United Nations' Handicap. Palfrey, who was also second in the Great Autumn Handicap, will meet Sister Sal on 41b better terms. Immediate, fourth in the Great'Autumn, will meet Palfrey on 21b better terms. Sister Sal helped to force the pace in the United Nations' Handicap, and will be racing over a furlong less ground to-mor-row.
