ANZAC REMEMBRANCE.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir.—My congratulations to the speaker at the R.S.A. service held at the Town Hall on Anzac Day. His summing up of the exploits of the Second Division, through their trying

journeys, was really a great effort. Oreece. Crete, Egypt, Tunisia, Italy, etc.—how these men fought and died that we may live! Not a word spolken of the men of the same spirit who fought and died on Vella Lavella, Nissan, but then we know as well as the speaker and the public that they were just on a holiday in the romantic islands. What is good enough for one is good enough for another—more so, when we see the names of wounded men back from the Pacific now in action in Italy.—l am. etc., 3rd Division in Action. April 26.
