JAPS. LAST CARRIERS ? (Rec. 12.45- p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 2L Many Japanese warships were so badly damaged in the inland Sea battle that only their twisted shells remained, according to reports to headquarters on- Guam to-day, says the United Press correspondent. He adds that it is possible that the carriers were the last ones the Japanese navy had in the service.
