ITALIAN TROOPS CONGRATULATED

(Rec. 10 a.m.) RUGBY, March 5. General Mark Clark, Allied commander v in Italy, has congratulated General Primero on the successful offensive operations of the Italian Cremona group under his command. General Clark stated that the clearing of the coastal area south of the Po di Primaro, as well as the number of casualties inflicted on the enemy, fortified the confidence in which these Italian troops was held as the result of earlier favourable action. "I shall'look forward to further achievements by your group with keen anticipation." said General Clark.
