JEWS IN MOURNING

MEMORY OF THOSE MASSACRED (fßee. noon.) JERUSALEM, March 5. Jews throughout the world will hold a week of mourning from March 8 to 14 in memory of the millions of Jews who died under the German terror. This has been decided by. the All-Palestine Rabbis' Conference, which received many letters from Britain, America, Russia, and other ' countries agreeing with the idea of a week's mourning. The conference decided that March 14 should be a fast day, on which, at 5 p.m., local time, throughout the world, every Jew will sit on the ground as a sign >of mourning. The rabbis decided to erect a monument on the Mount of Olives, in Jerusalem, in memory of the Jewish communities and Jews who lost their lives in Europe.
