SYDNEY NEWSPAPER WORLD ' SUN ' DELIVERY UNITS STRIKE Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright (Rec. 8 a.m.) • SYDNEY, March 5. After the first edition at noon the ' Sun ' was not available for sale .in Sydney to-day because of a strike by members of the Transport Union employed to distribute the newspapers! Members of the union employed by the ' Sun ' decided not to commence work until, they, have- been granted four weeks' annual holiday for a 40-hour week. They also demanded that all private owner drivers who have a contract to assist in the delivery of the ' Sun ' must become members of the union.
The dispute has been reported to the registrar of the Industrial Commission with a request for a compu'sory conference.
