VALLEY WINS FOUR-RINK CHAMPIONSHIP

The .final match in the four-rink championship for the Holmes Feathers and the Australian " Friendship " Clock was played last evening on the Caledonian Club's green between the North-east Valley and Kaituna Clubs. The green, as usual, played well, but a strong northerly wind made conditions rather difficult. The match was won by North-east Valley by 94 points to 73. At the conclusion of the match congratulations were conveyed to the • North-east Valley Club by Mr E. Longworth, on behalf of the Bowling Centre, and by Mr Davis, on behalf of the Kaituna Club. Mr W. A. Jenkins suitably replied on behalf of the winners. The following are the scores (North-east Vallev names being given first) : H. Pettet, J. Maxwell, It. Taylor, J. Crawford 25, L. Marsden, J.
