BOMBERS MEET NO OPPOSITION
(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) NEIW YORK, Feb. 25. . - Super-Fortress crews returning from the Tokio raid reported that they had to bomb by instruments through heavy clouds, says the Associated Press Guam correspondent. The crews generally said they did not meet any Japanese fighters and the flak was light above the cloud layer. The airmen considered that one explanation for the lack of opposition' was that the carrier planes kept the Japanese well occupied.
