An Outright Win. Air Force comfortably beat Carisbrook B, winning outright. Carisbrook’s first innings, on its own ground, totalled only 100. A. Johnston scored 42; J. N. McGregor 25, and J. McArthur 20. Bowling for Air Force, L 0. Smith took five wickets for 55 runs, G. W. Delamore three for 40, and 1. C. Douglas one for 16. Carisbrook carried on with its second innings and made 92 runs. The highest scorer was J. McArthur, who made 48 runs. Smith took six wickets for 40 runs, and S. Deslands one for 4. Air Force had compiled 339 in the first innings on the opening day of the match N.E.V.’s Win.

The rather surprising declaration hv North-east Valley bn its first innings score of 145 for five wickets invested the concluding stages <Sf the match at the Gardens with University with plenty of interest, although the standard was not particularly high. Jones 21, Stevens 23, McCormack 20; Bell four for 16). Green Island, 159 for seven wickets declared (A. Grant 36, Gore 36, Samson 27 not out, A. Berry 17, Dickson 15; White two for 9, Fastier two for 18), defeated University, 46 (McDowell 12; Dickson five (for 8, A. Grant two for 9), and 57 (Painter 18; Dickson five for 13, G. Berry two for 2).
