CHINESE STILL FIGHTING (Received 11.10 a.m.) CHUNGKIUG, February 2. The Chinese army spokesman denied that the Japanese had gained full control of the Canton-Hankow railway. He said fighting was in progress at several points between Kukong and. Chensjen. There was also fighting between Hongkong and Swatow. An American cdmniunique reports that the Fourteenth Air Force base at Suichwan .has been destroyed and abandoned. American planes .strafed Japanese divisional headquarters south of Nanning.
