JET-PROPELLED AIRCRAFT
EXPECTED USE BY JAPANESE (Rec. 8 a.m.) NEW YORK, January 26. . Rear-Admiral Ramsey, chief of the Navy Bureau of Aeronautics, announced that the navy was ready to meet the expected appearance of Japanese jet-propelled planes in the Pacific with at least six new aircraft, including one whicji is jet-propelled. He added that two new Japanese fighters capable of over 400 miles an hour were encountered recently. He warned that Japanese air research was nearly as good as the American, and enemy aircraft captured showed workmanship of the highest order.
