ROSLYN AND KAIKORAI
A meeting of .the Roslyn and'Kaikorai Ratepayers' Association was held last night. Mr A. Kllis presided, and then? were also present Messrs D. O'Connell, 0. Thomas, F. Fraser, Ai Goodlet, F. Sharpe, A. Laiireuson, N. Thomson, and tho secretary.
It was decided to thank the City Council for various improvements carried out in the district.
The suggestion was made that, as so many ratepayers' associations were being formed, any overlapping of the different interests would be avoided by the establishment of suburban boundaries. It was agreed, however, that the association should carry on as formerly.
It was noted that the caretaker of the baths at Fraser's Gully had resigned, and it was decided to ask tho council to appoint another caretaker for the summer months, Other desirable works which, it was agreed, should be brought to the notice of the City Council included the construction of a footpath between Greenock street and Fraser's road; the clearing away of the grass near (ho Stuart street power house; and improved drainage at the children's playing area.
