(Rec. 12.5 ,p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 6. More, than 700 Halif&xes and Lancaster, escorted by more than 250 Spitfires and Mustangs, this afternoon gave Gelsenkirchen, the only large (Ruhr town which thus far has; not been seriously damaged, a pounding. Its two large marshalling yards, capable of handling 4,000 wagons every 24 hours, were or great value to the German army.
