LAST REARGUARDS CROSS FRONTIER BRITISH PREPARING TO ENTER SALONIKA LONDON, Nov. 4. Greece has been entirely freed, reports- ,the Exchange Telegraph's Rome correspondent. The last German rearguards are believed to have orossed the frontier into Yugoslavia on Thursday night. R.A.F. reconnaissance aircraft based in Greece searched vainly for a retreating ■ German column. ■ ■ ■ A special communique from Allied headquarters in the Mediterranean says patrols report that except for small individual parties no German troops remain on the mainland of Greece. British troops have landed on the mainland in the vicinity of Salonika, preparatory to entering the town.
