BASEBALL
In a men's baseball match played at Bathgate Park on Saturday between Hillside Tigers and A.T.C. Spitfires, Tigers scored a decisive win with six home runs over Spitfires' four. O'Leary showed promise as a steady batsman, scoring: three of the runs for Tigers. The pitching of Parkin in the Spitfires' first innings was of a high standard. Pitching for Spitfires, Donaldson proved to be deadly. This player is outstanding in his team, whose four runs were contributed by Anderson, Mansfield, Fleming, and Armour. WOMEN'S MATCHES. The first matches of the season were held on Saturday, and some interesting good baseball was played. In the second section the O.G.H.S. I. played a good game, which they won, 50-6. Their score card showed eHit home''runs, three of which were scored by Frances Cunningham.
