HARD OF HEARING LEAGUE

The Dunedin branch of the New Zealand Hard of Hearing League held a social evening, when an entertainment was given by a musical party under the direction of Mrs Ernes't Drake. The party comprised Misses Dorothy Oliver, Pat Woods. June Donaldson, Dora Drake. Messrs lan Collins and Brian Drake. In the absence of Dr Cars well, a vote of thanks to Mrs Drake and the singers was proposed by Dean Cruickshank. The ladies of the league were recently entertained by the civic circle of the Women's Club. Mrs Tavernor welcomed the ladies, and films were shown by Mrs .). -J. Purdie. Miss D. McLean returned thanks, and lloral sprays wero presented to Mrs Taverner and Mrs Dennis.
