STEADY ADVANCES IN GREECE ENEMY DESTROYERS SUNK OFF SHORE (Ree. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 3, The Exchange Telegraph's Rome correspondent says that British patrols are operating under five miles from tho Greek-Serbian frontier. Our forces in Greece inflicted casualties yesterday when they attacked the rearguard of' the enemy column entering Fiorina. They also derailed an enemy traiu consisting of 60 wagons. The British destroyers, Wheatland and Avonvale, operating between the islands west of Pagis Island, engaged and sank two enemy destroyers. In 90 minutes they later engaged and sank another destroyer. Our forces suffered no casualties, though the Avonvale was superficially damaged. Adverse weather yesterday grounded most of the Mediterranean Air Force, which flew under 100 sorties.

M. Papandreou, as Minister of War, has signed a decree placing the military governor of the Attica district under General Scobie, commander of the British troops in Greece.
