COURT WOODLANDS PRIDE

Following the usual meeting of the above court, a social was held to honour Bro. E Clayton, the retiring secretary, over 100 members and visitors being present. The C.T., Sister C. L. Shepperd, presented Bro Clayton with a suit case, and referred to rlie good work that he had done over a period of 21 years. D.C.R. Bro . L. J. Nehson and P.P.D.C.R. Bro A. Gibson atso spoke. Sister Madame Stella presented a recital by her students. Those who contributed were Misses June Holmes, Daphne Bunt Peggy Howell, Aida Skinner, Jean McKi'nlay, Messrs George McKay sen., Allan Taylor, Gordon Steele, and Master Lawrence Day. A pleasant evening, terminated with supper, and dancing to music supplied by Sister R. Gibb.
