AGE LIMIT 35
MEN FOR BRITAIN'S SERVICES LONDON, October 6. Men now 35 years of age or older will not be called up for the services, says the ' Daily Mail.' Instructions have been issued to the Ministry of Labour military service sections that unless there is a marked change in the war situation, men in the older age groups will not be needed for the armed forces. This decision is based on three factors. First, there are now enough trained men in the armed forces to settle the war in Europe; secondly, the ivar will be one for young men trained in the mechanics of modern battle; thirdly, most men of niilitary age over 35 who have not. yet been called up are already doing work of national importance for which they have been given exemption.
