LAWN TENNIS

CLUB COMPETITiGNS The Otago Lawn Tenuis Association has decided to revive competitive play during the coming season, and matches will be arranged in three grades—A, B, and C. Entries -of teams will be called for from clubs. In addition to the matches, the association will arrange a series of handicap tournaments on the same basis as last year, and these should again prove popular with players. It is encouraging to note that the outlook in respect to the supply of tennis balls appears to be more hopeful than, it promised to be some time ago.
