The engagement is announced between Arthur • Robert, elder son of Mr and the late Mrs A. J. Neilson, of St. Albans, Christchurch, and Margaret, only daughter of Lieutenant-colonel and Mrs H. D. McHugh, of Heretaunga, Wellington.
The engagement is announced between Laurence Frederick, second son of Mr and Mrs C. Bishop, Tinwald, Ashburton, and Mary Patricia (Mollie), eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs P. J. Clemenger, London, England.
