U.S. HEAVIES OUT IN FOiIGE ATTACKS ON GERMAN WAR PLANTS (ißec. 10.25 a.m.) RUGBY, Oct. 6. Over 1,250 Fortresses and Liberators to-day attacked oil refineries, tank factories, and ordnance plant, an aircraft engine plant, and aerodromes in Germany under favourable weather condition and with generally good to excellent results. The targets which took the heavies and escorts of very strong forces of Mustangs and Thunderbolts on a round trip of over 1,400 miles, included the Rhenanin and Ebano oil refineries at Harburg, the aircraft engine plant, ordnance depot and aircraft engine plant in Berlin, and aerodromes at Stargard, New Brandenburg, and Wensedorf, near Hamburg,
