There were two reported sales of New Zealand Refrigerating (cont.) at 13s. the market closing at 12s 10d-13s 6d. National Mortgage ".B" were quoted at 35s 6d-36s 6d. with a sale reported at 365. Other reported sales were Loan and Mercantile (ord.) at £7O, with a buyer still offering £69; D.I.C. (ord.) at 21s, with a buyer quoting 206 9d; New Zealand Drug (40s paid) at 97s 6d, with a buyer at 975; and Booth. Macdonald (pref.) at 10s 9d, this issue being on offer at lis 3d. Other quotations both ways were for South British Insurance at 77s 6d-79d 6d; McKenzie's Stores at 58s 6d-60s, New Zealand Paper Mills (ex div.) at 405415, and Mount Lyell at 33s 3d-34s 3d.
