PACIFIC ISLANDS BOMBED
(Rec. 11.45 a.m.) , WASHINGTON, May 10. Liberators and Mitchells on Monday bombed Ponape Island, hitting airfields and the town says a Pacific fleet communique. Other bombers and fighters bombed and strafed remaining enemy position in the Marshalls, hitting fuel storage facilities, anti-aircraft batteries, barracfe, and coastal guris.
