A New Zealand Road Transport Service bus bound for Timaru and a motor ear driven, bv Mr Shand, of Timaru, towards Dunedin collided on the northern side of Mount Cargill about 3.15 p.m. yesterday. The bus was fully, loaded with passengers and luggage. Both vehicles were slightly damaged but no person was injured. A relief: bus was sent from Dunedin, and the trip to Timaru was continued after only a short delay. WHAT CAN I SEND HIM? Tinned- fond? Yes, but do not forget things like handkerchiefs and a bottle of Baxters Lung Preserver. There is always somebody " over there " who will be glad of a dose or two of " Baxters,", their old familiar friend. Baxters Ltd., 602 Colombo street, Christchurch.—[Advt.l
