The United Nations' anti-submarine activity during April continued on a highly satisfactory, level, says a joint British and American statement issued under the authority of Mr Churchill and President Roosevelt. Jt states that again for another month the extraordinary fact continued that the number of enemy submarines sunk exceeded the number of Allied merchantmen sunk by submarines.
