PROTEST BY ARABS
LONDON, February 28.. Egypt has officially protested to tha United States against statements made to a Senate committee on the advisability of the creation of a Jewish State in Palestine, says the Cairo correspondent of the ' Daily Telegraph.'' Iraq has also protested. Very great importance is attached in the Middle East to the Arab protest in view of the expiry on March 31 of a Palestine White Paper. _ and •an expected statement from Britain on Palestine policy. The. Egyptian _ Government, it is understood, is considering the calling of an assembly of all Arab' States as a protest against any one-sided settlement of the Palestine issues. 'Hie.. Egyptian Cabinet met at a special session on Sunday night to consider the situation.
