SHARE MARKET. Bank of New Zealand were wanted at 44s on 'Change this morning, after a reported sale at 44s 3d. There was also a reported sale of E.S. and A. Bank at 83s 6d. Iln this section buyers were offering £34 15s for New South Wales, £32s 9d for New Zealand long " D," 18s 2d for Commercial, and £lO 10s for the pref. and £7 18s for Union. The quotation for New Zealand Loan and Mercantile (ord.) was £sl 105£55. £55. Dominion Breweries had a buyer at 43s 6d and a seller at 455, and the market in Bruce Woollen (ord.) closed at 34s 9d--365. MINING. The wash-up from Gillespie's Beach for the week ended February 26 was 540 z from 16,038 cubic yards for 128 hours of work. DREDGE RETURN. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 2.
