AUSTRALIAN CONSPIRATORS SENTENCED Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright (Rec. 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 1. Convicted at the Central Criminal Court of a black market liquor conspiracy, four men were sent to gaol to-day by Justice Sir Percival HalsaRogers. Richard Herbert Ketnpley, aged 52. accountant, and David Blank, aged 26, hotelkeeper, whom the Crown claimed were the principals of the conspiracy, were both sentenced to the maximum period of three years' imprisonment: Gordon Casey, aged 25. hotel manager, to two years; and Harry Laidlaw. aged 40. lintel malinger, to 12 months. " This crime is one motivated by greed and by cupidity," said His Honour. " It was a conspiracy to do an act which in war time might have very grave consequences.''-
