TAIERI SOLDIERS ENTERTAINED
The Presbyterians of Mo&giel welcomed home Lieutenant G. Dodds at a social in the Sunday School Hall. Rev. L. Jones presided. Several members of tlie congregation spoke words of welcome, "and the choir and friends favoured with a short programme. Rev. R. T. Dodds (St. Clair) joined in the welcome. Supper was served at tht close of the programme. ._ . • A welcome home social was tendered to'Corporal W. Beattie and Private S. Snell in Momona Hall on Friday evening.. Mr J. McNeill, on behalf of the SoTdiers' '" Entertainment Committee, welcomed the guests, and presented each with a well-filled envelope. Misses Pilling, ©rough, and Heasley contributed items, and dancing brought the function to a close.
