General Stilwell's communique says Mitchells of the Sino-American wing attacked a Japanese convoy oft Fuchow and sank two passenger ships of 2,200 tpns and 1,700 tons, and a 1,100-ton freighter. They also damaged a 2,700-ton freighter, and shot down a Japanese seaplane. Other Mitchells sank a 2,700-ton freighter between Hongkong and Nampang Island. All the aircraft returned.
