RAID ON SOFIA
AMERICAN BOMBERS OVER BULGARIAN CAPITAL (Rcc. 8 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 2o\ The Berlin radio reports that American bombers, with fighter escort, attacked Sofia at noon yesterday. Sofia has now been bombed six times in recent months, mainly because it is the rail centre for the German armies in the Balkans.
