Stock. December, 1953-56, at £9B 17s 6dwas reported, a buyer still offering the same figure. There was an inquiry for Bank of New South, Wales at £33 15s, with a sale reported at £34. Wilson's Cement were quoted at 19s-19s 6d, with a sale reported at 19s 3d. The only quotations both ways were for New Zealand Refrigerating (cont.) at 13s-13s 3d, Kaitangata Coal at 32s 6d-345, and Gillespis's Beach at s^d-7d. PUBLIC TRUST. Estates- to the value of £611,015 were accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of December. The total value of estates and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on Marcb 31, 1943, was £66,777,793. Grants of administration made by the court in December in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 199, and 599 new wills appointing tbe Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged.
