HUH BOMBERS' BARBAROUS AGT LONDON, January 2b. For the first time since the beacnhead was established by the Allied troops at Nettuno the Luftwaffe ma.de prolonged and concentrated attacks on the big concentration of shipping in the harbour. Considerable numbers of bombers were employed in a night attack, which lasted for over two hours.

Three hospital ships, all lighted according to International law, were singled out for special attention, and bombs were dropped around them. One hospital ship was sunk with coniiderable loss of life.
