SHARE MARKET. A sa'.e of National Bank of New Zealand at 55s was reported on 'Change this morning, with a, buyer still offering 54s 6d. Sales reported at yesterday afternoon's call-over were: New Zealand Drug (40s paid), 92s 6d; 3 per cent. Stock, .1952-55, £99; 4 per cent. Stock, 1943-46, £lO2 10s; New Zealand Breweries. 40s 3d; and iWoolworths (New Zealand), 18s lid. This morning there was the usual long list of unsatisfied buyers of Government securities, and buyers were. also active in all other sections. New Zealand Insurance had a market at 89s 6d-Sos 6d. Kaitangata Coal were quoted at 32s 9d-33s 9d. Consolidated Brick at 9s ,9d-10s 9d. National Electric at 30s-325, and Gillespie's Beach at sd-6d. A buyer of Maoduffs (ord.) advanced to -13 s 3d. , \ IMPORT LICENSING AMENDMENTS. The Comptroller of Customs has advised the Dunedin Ohannber of Commerce of amendments to the import licensing schedule for tho eighth period in ear "trumpets and other hearing aids for the deaf and in spare parts for these appliances, and in Subterranean clover seed. • SALES ON 'CHANGE; THIS DAY.
