Brook, Musselburgh, have received advice that their son. Gunner Harold .Thompson, who has been a prisoner of war for 19 mouths in Italy, has recently been transferred to Stalag • VIH.a, Germany. The special correspondent of the New Zealand Press Association in London states" that the death occurred on January 11 of Mrs Margery W'ilson (neo Wace),. She was the wife of Mr Ormond Wilson, formerly M.P. for Rangitiket? She- was previously Empire talks direc-' tor at the 8.8. C. Mr Wilson is assistant manager of the 8.8. C. general overseas service.
Mr Peter McSkimming, of Benhar, left by train this morning on the first stages of a business trip to England. Mr and Mrs Angus Cameron, of Waikouaiti.vhave received advice that their son, who "was a prisoner of war iu Italy, has been transferred ■to Stalag VIII.A, Germany. Advice has been received by Mr and Mrs J. R. Callender that their son; Warrant-officer Hugh R. Callender, R.A.F.. who has been a prisoner of war in Italy since October, 1942, has been transferred to Stalag XVIIT. A, Ger-
