APPOINTMENTS TO ORDERS DUNEDIN OFFICER A RECIPIENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 11. Mr Fraser has received advice from the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs that the King has been pleased to approve, as New Year honours, the following appointments to orders and promotions, and appointments to the Royal Red Cross:— C.B. Member of the Military Division of the Third Class or Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (C. 8.): Brigadier William George Stevens, C:B.E. (wife, Mrs G. C. D. Stevens, Wellington). C.B.E. Commanders of the Military Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (C.8.E.) : Colonel Jauu;s Roberts Boyd, M.C. (wife, Mrs J. M. Boyd, Wellington); the Right Reverend Bishop George Vincent Gerard, M.C. (wife, Mrs E. M. Gerard, Napier). 0.8. E. Officers of the Military Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (0.8. E.): Lieutenant-colonel Eardley Lorimer Button (wife, Mrs 1. V. Button, Wellington) ; Lieutenantcolonel James Ferris Fuller (wife, Mrs J. M. Fuller, Dunedin). Lieutenant-colonel Fuller went overseas with the Second N.Z.E.F. as assistant director of dental services and was promoted to his present rank in July, 1941. M.B.E. Members of the military division of the Most Excellent Order of the 'British Empire (M.8.E.).: Major David Adamson Clark (wife, Mrs O. Clark, Wellington); Major Alban Vincent Knapp (wife, Mrs A. V. Knapp, Wellintgon); Major Donald Stuart Gore Marchbauks (father. Mr- J. Marchbanks, Wellington). ROYAL RED CROSS. Member of the Royal Red Cross (R.R.C.): Matron Doris Irene Brown, A.R.IR.C.
