ALLIED AIR SUPERIORITY
(Rec. 12.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 18. "We enjoy air superiority in New Guinea, both in morale and in the skill of our pilots. The performance of our aircraft far _ exceeds anything we so far have achieved against the Germans in Europe,'" said Major-general .Lethbridge, leader of the British military mission, in a broadcast address. Ha was impressed by the close co-opera-tion between the Air Force and the ground troops and by the extent which aircraft'were used for transport in the New Guinea fighting.
