MEW ZEALAND OFFICIAL YEAR BOOK YVe have received from the Government Statistician a copy of the 1943 edition of the New Zealand Official Year Book. Consideration of space and economy of paper haye necessitated condensation wnerever possible, but every care has been taken to see that the value of the statistical and other information annually presented is not impaired. A mass of information covering every phase of. the Dominion's activities is presented, so that it is a mine of accurate information. The publication contains more than 700 pages, and a feature this time is a clearly printed map of New Zealand, with the addition of a section showing islands in the South Pacific Ocean. This year's book has been prepared with painstaking care, and is a tribute to the efficiency of its compilers-
