ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS

FATAL INJURIES. Henry Hugh Taggart, aged 42, single, was killed on the Ngahere Gold Dredge yesterday. It is understood that he was dragged by the revolving screen into the narrow chute; receiving injuries which proved fatal before he reach the Grey Hospital. HIP INJURY. Mrs Lily Marshall, aged 55, of 542 Main South road, injured her left hip when she fell down some stairs at Butterfields' Ltd.. in the Octagon, yesterday. She was admitted to the Public Hospital at 9.30 p.m.
