THEFT OF BICYCLE

A". youth, aged 18, whose name was suppressed, was charged with stealing a bicycle on August 16. Mr R. L. Fairmaid, who appeared for the accused, asked for a remand until next Friday. Senior-detective .T. Hall, for the police, raised no objection, and the remand was granted. Bail "was allowed in the accused's own recognisance of £25 and one surety of £25.
