IRISH STEAMER ATTACKED

LONDON, October 25

A Dublin steamer, owned by the Eire Shipping Company, which left Dublin on Wednesday last for Spain, wr.s attacked from a low level by an unidentified! plane 120 miles off the Irish coast by cannon and machine-gun fire. ' Four men were wounded, including the captain, who is in a serious condition. The vessel put back to Cork after the attack, and the wounded persons were admitted to hospital.
