NAZIS PROMISE BONUS
(Rec. 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 22. The German High Command has announced a special bonus for members of the German forces fighting in the front line. Payment will depend on the following hardship conditions: — Firstly deterioration of general conditions of living; secondly, the soldier necessarily must be involved in the fighting or forced to remain in the vicinity of. the enemy; thirdly, nights repeatedly spent in open trenches; fourthly, irregularity and insufficiency of food supplies. The. conditions automatically exclude women except frontline nurses.
